Capital One - Native Mobile Designs
Problem
Capital One was working on an investing digital guidance tool. The web version of the tool was pretty much ready and the team needed me to translate all the web features to native mobile design for iOS and Android.
What I did
Collaborate with people from different teams (design, content, research, and product) throughout the design process. We discussed what features were a priority and what to highlight first. Also, I partnered with the development team to create design specifications that will help them develop more efficiently, these specifications included layout boundaries and IF scenarios that are not on the common flow of the experience.
what i learned
The importance of cross-functional teams. Each person brings a unique perspective and great insight into what is being discussed. I also learned that no questions are too small or dumb, is important to keep asking questions to find a good solution.
